An attractive antique print - the fine interior of the Wren church of All Hallows the Great, which formerly occupied part of the Mondial House site. The view shows the chancel screen and pulpit sounding-board now removed to St. Margaret Lothbury. Engraved by Thomas Turnbull (fl.1827-1843) from an original study by the painter and architect Robert William Billings. A handsome antique print - the exterior of the Wren church of All Hallows the Great on Upper Thames Street, demolished in the late nineteenth century. Engraved by Joseph Skelton (1785-1850) from an original study (now in the British Museum) by John Coney. Originally produced for the part-work series "Architectura Ecclesiastica Londini; being a Series of Views" (London : 1810-1823) - "the first artistically competent and exhaustive illustration of the golden age of London church building" (Adams).
