[London : George Virtue, 1837]. A handsome antique print - a distant view of Arran - snow-capped peaks, ships bending to the wind. Engraved by Henry Adlard (fl.1825-1877) from an original study by the ubiquitous William Henry Bartlett. Originally produced for the part-work series "Scotland Illustrated" (London : 1835-1838).
Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 136 x 177mm (approx. 5-3/8" x 7"). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.
