[London : G. W. Bacon, ca. 1885]. An attractive map of the Fulham and Putney area of London, giving good detail on a scale of four inches to the mile. The area covered extends north to Hammersmith Broadway, east to West Kensington, Parsons Green and Hurlingham Park, south to show Carlton Road (now Carlton Drive) emerging on to Putney Hill, and west to include Barnes Station, Castelnau, etc. Originally produced for Bacon's "New Atlas of London and Suburbs".
Lithograph on paper, with full original hand colour. Printed surface 273 x 205mm (approx. 10-3/4" x 8"). Faint original fold, but overall in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique map.

[London : 1884]. A charming wood-engraving of the old parish church of St. Mary at Barnes set amidst trees. Engraved from a study by William Henry Boot and originally produced for the part-work "Greater London: a Narrative of its History, its People and its Places" published between 1882 and 1884.
Wood engraving on paper. Later hand colour. Engraved surface 102 x 144mm (approx. 4" x 5-5/8"). Text on verso. In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.

A pleasant late nineteenth century antique print - cattle on the common at Barnes - from an original design by the painter and illustrator William Luker and engraved in Paris by Ch. Guillaume & Cie. for the Leadenhall Press publication "London City Suburbs" (1893).
Hand touched and finished half-tone process block. Image area 218 x 159mm (approx. 8-5/8" x 6-1/4"). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.
