A charming antique print offering a view from the Victoria Gate of Hyde Park across the Bayswater Road to Hyde Park Gardens. There are elegantly dressed visitors to the park, on horse and on foot, and the Bayswater omnibus can be seen through the trees. Engraved by W. Lacey (fl.1830-1855) from an original study by Samuel Read R.W.S., draughtsman, illustrator and painter.
