Engraved by Henry Griffiths (fl.1835-1849) from an original study by the gifted Thomas Allom. Originally produced for the part-work series "Scotland Illustrated" (London 1835-1838).

From an original study by Henry Bright - originally produced for John Parker Lawson's "Scotland Delineated in a Series of Views" (London 1847-1854), but here with the later imprint of J. G.
