Engraved from a study by William Henry Boot and originally produced for the part-work “Greater London : A Narrative of its History, its People and its Places” published between 1882 and 1884.

Originally produced for the “England’s Topographer” series of Kent views (London : 1828-1831).

[London : R. & J. Dodsley, 1761]. An elegant eighteenth-century print of the Palladian mansion of Foots Cray Place. Engraved by Benjamin Green (1736?-1800?) from an original study by the painter and illustrator Samuel Wale, first Professor of Perspective at the Royal Academy. Originally produced for Robert Dodsley’s part-work compilation, “London and its Environs Described” (1761).
Copper etching and line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 94 x 141mm (approx. 3-5/8” x 5-1/28”). A few tiny specks but overall in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.
