London : George Virtue, 1832. An attractive antique print – a general view of Braintree from a winding country lane. Engraved by Henry Adlard (1799-1893) from an original study by William Henry Bartlett. Originally produced for “The History and Topography of Essex” published in parts from 1831 onwards.
Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 115 x 154mm (approx. 4-1/2” x 6-1/8”). A couple of very minor creases, but in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.
