An antique print of the elegant portico of the old seventeenth-century Fishmongers' Hall, designed by Edward Jarman, demolished in 1827 to accommodate the new London Bridge. Engraved by John Greig (fl.1800-1843) from an original study by Thomas Hosmer Shepherd, the master recorder of 19th century London. An attractive antique print of the northern approach to London Bridge, with Fishmongers' Hall to the right, the bridge and Southwark Cathedral beyond. Engraved by John Woods (fl.1835-1855) from a composite study by Francis William Topham and Robert Garland (d.1863).
