[London : George Virtue, 1842]. A striking antique print – nineteenth-century Bridlington from the shore. Engraved by James Stephenson (1808-1886) from an original study by the north-country artist George Balmer. Originally produced for the part-work series “Ports, Harbours, Watering Places and Coast Scenery of Great Britain” (London : 1836-1842).
Steel line engraving on paper. Later hand colour. Engraved surface 143 x 173mm (approx. 5-5/8” x 7”). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique map.

[London : George Virtue, 1842]. A striking antique print – a vignette view of the headland, with the lighthouse. Engraved by the well-known Edward Finden (1791-1857) from an original study by the north-country artist George Balmer. Originally produced for the part-work series “Ports, Harbours, Watering Places and Coast Scenery of Great Britain” (London : 1836-1842).
Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 167 x 158mm (approx. 6-5/8” x 6-1/4”). A few faint marks to outer blank margins, but overall in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.

Originally produced for Thomas Allen’s partwork series “A New and Complete History of the County of York” (London : 1828-1831).
Line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 119 x 177mm (approx. 4-5/8” x 7”). A few tiny specks to outer blank margins, but overall in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.
