[London : Fisher, Son & Co., 1831]. A very attractive antique print - a distant prospect of the house set among stands of trees - a view from the bridge, with swans on the water and deer on the bank. Engraved by William Alexander le Petit (fl.1829-1855) from an original study by the painter-architect Thomas Allom. Originally produced for the part-work series "Devonshire Illustrated" (London : 1828-1832).
Steel line engraving on paper. Later hand colour. Engraved surface 111 x 156mm (approx. 4-3/8" x 6-1/8"). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.

Originally produced for Thomas Dugdale's part-work survey published as "The Curiosities of Great Britain" or "England Delineated" in various formats between 1838 and 1860.
