London : Vernor, Hood & Sharpe, 1808. A most attractive antique print - Towneley Hall near Burnley - a distant view of the house across the rolling parkland - a group of deer in the foreground. Engraved by James Stewart and John Burnet from an original study by the younger George Barret. Originally produced for the part-work "Beauties of England and Wales" (1801-1816).
Copper line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 108 x 151mm (approx. 4-1/4" x 6"). Trimmed tight at foot, but otherwise in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.
