[London : Fisher, Son & Co., 1837]. A pleasant antique print – Chee Tor and the Wye below – a man fishing in the middle distance. Engraved by Frederick James Havell (1801-1840) from an original study by the painter-architect Thomas Allom. Originally produced for the part-work series of views “The Counties of Chester, Derby, Nottingham, Leicester, Rutland, & Lincoln Illustrated” (London : 1836-1837).
Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 105 x 156mm (approx. 4-1/8” x 6-1/8”). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.

London : Vernor, Hood & Sharpe, 1806. A pleasant antique print – a fisherman with rod and line tries his luck at the foot of the tor. Engraved by John Greig (fl.1800-1843) from a drawing by Moore and originally produced for the part-work “Beauties of England and Wales” (1801-1816).
