Engraved by Edward Radclyffe (1810?-1863) from an original study by George Haydock Dodgson, himself once an apprentice of George Stephenson. Originally produced for Thomas Roscoe's "The London and Birmingham Railway" (London : 1839) - and here in a slightly later impression from a lithographic transfer.
