[London : Josiah Henshall, 1838]. A charming antique print - the cutting and the bridge - the sight of an early railway train attracting an audience - the Round House beyond. Engraved by the young Joseph Fussell and originally produced for the part-work "Select Illustrated Topography of Thirty Miles Round London" (London : 1837-1838).
Steel line engraving on paper. Later hand colour. Engraved surface 109 x 151mm (approx. 4-1/4" x 5-7/8"). A few very faint marks to blank margins, but overall in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print. Adams 190/032.
