London : W. Daniell, 1823. An exquisite antique print showing the church and the surrounding buildings from across the water. A delicately worked aquatint by William Daniell from his own original sketch. Originally produced for his part-work series "Voyage Round Great Britain" (London : 1814-1825) - "a succession of beautiful colour plates ... unsurpassed both in delicacy of drawing and tinting" (Prideaux).
Aquatint on paper, with original hand colour. Engraved surface 213 x 280mm (approx. 8-3/8" x 11"). In very good, crisp and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.

London : Longman & Co., 1811. A handsome antique print - the exterior of Christchurch Priory - a man digs in the grounds. Engraved by Samuel Rawle from his own original original study. Originally produced for the serially published "Architectural Antiquities of Great Britain" (1806-1826).
Etching and line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 230 x 153mm (approx. 9" x 6"). Faint creasing to outer blank margins, but otherwise in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.
