[London : Virtue & Co., 1881]. A pleasant antique print - a view of Painshill House set in its celebrated park - cattle in the foreground. Engraved by M. J. Starling (fl.1829-1848) from an original study by the gifted artist-architect Thomas Allom. Originally produced in 1843 for the part-work "History of Surrey" (London : 1840-1848) - and here in the later reissue published between 1878 and 1881.
Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 127 x 168mm (approx. 5" x 6-5/8"). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.
