[London : George Virtue, 1839]. A most attractive antique print - a precarious wooden bridge spans the Yantic Falls at Norwich. Engraved by James Charles Armytage (1802-1897) from an original study by William Henry Bartlett. Originally produced for the part-work series "American Scenery" (London : 1837-1839).

An attractive antique print - the estate of Monte Video at Talcott Mountain in Connecticut, fashioned by the art-collector Daniel Wadsworth in the early years of the nineteenth century and complete with its lookout tower. Engraved and printed by Fenner, Sears & Co., from an original study by the celebrated Thomas Cole. Originally produced for John Howard Hinton's serially published "The History and Topography of the United States" (London : 1830-1832).
