An attractive antique print - small boats navigate the passage into the bay - the town beyond. Engraved by Samuel Fisher (fl.1830-1855) from an original study by the gifted Thomas Allom. Originally produced for the part-work series "Scotland Illustrated" (London : 1835-1838). Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 141 x 180mm (approx. 5-1/2" x 7"). Small mark in upper corner, but otherwise in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.
