[Leiden : Pieter van der Aa, 1707]. A fine early eighteenth-century print of the Custom House from the river - the quay bustling with activity. Originally produced for Pieter van der Aa's publication "Les Délices de la Grand'Bretagne" (Leiden : 1707). The present edition is dated to 1727.
Etching and line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 124 x 151mm (approx. 4-7/8" x 6"). Old folds, a few minor marks, but a good and sharp impression in very good state. A guaranteed genuine antique print. Adams 20/007.

[Paris : C. P. Landon, 1810]. An attractive and uncommon antique print - the busy Thames-side quay and the Custom House. Drawn and engraved by Jean-Jerome Baugean (from an earlier English source) and originally produced for the "Description de Londres et de ses Edifices" (Paris : 1810).

Originally published by John Bowles in 1724, but here in a later impression on wove paper datable to the early years of the nineteenth century. Drawn and engraved by John Greig (fl.1800-1843) and originally produced for the part-work publication "Walks through London, including Westminster and the Borough of Southwark" (London 1816-1817).
