[London : Leadenhall Press, 1891]. A pleasant antique print – a view of Throgmorton Street teeming with pedestrian traffic. From an original design by the painter and illustrator William Luker and engraved in Paris by Ch. Guillaume & Cie. for the Leadenhall Press publication “London City” (1891).
Hand touched and finished half-tone process block. Later hand colour. Image area 155 x 94mm (approx. 6” x 3-3/4”). Text on verso. In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.

Originally produced for Payne’s “Illustrated London, or a Series of Views in the British Metropolis and its Vicinity” (London : 1846-1847) – and here in a slightly later impression.
Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 70 x 87mm (approx. 2-3/4” x 3-3/8”). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print. Adams 207/102B.

Engraved by John Greenaway (1816-1890) from an original sketch by William Henry Prior. Originally produced for the part-work “Old and New London” (London : 1873-1878).

Engraved by William Watkins (fl.1828-1848) from an original study Thomas Hosmer Shepherd, the master recorder of nineteenth-century London. From Shepherd’s series “London and its Environs in the Nineteenth Century” (London : 1829-1832).

London : John Harris, 1812. A attractive small antique print – old Throgmorton Street and Drapers’ Hall as it stood two hundred years ago. Engraved by Robert Sands (1782-1855) from an original study by William Johnstone White (fl.1804-1812), and originally produced for the part-work “Beauties of England and Wales” (1801-1816).
Copper line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 77 x 96mm (approx. 3” x 3-3/4”). Trimmed a little tight at head, but overall in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.
