[London : George Virtue, 1842]. An elegant antique print of mid nineteenth century Dublin - the Custom House on the quays, shipping on the river. Engraved by Thomas Higham (1796-1844) from an original study by the ever-reliable William Henry Bartlett and originally produced for the Bartlett part-work "The Scenery and Antiquities of Ireland" (London : 1840-1842).
Steel line engraving on paper. Later hand colour. Engraved surface 137 x 182mm (approx. 5-3/8" x 7-1/8"). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.

London : Brook & Roberts, 1866. A fine antique print - a prospect of the harbour at Dublin from the sea - the town and the hills beyond, shipping in choppy waters approaches the harbour. Engraved by Thomas Abiel Prior (1809-1866) from an original study by Edward Duncan. Originally produced as the Stationers' Company Almanack for 1867 - and so titled above the image.
Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 220 x 386mm (approx. 8-3/4" x 15-1/4"). Very faint old vertical crease, but in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.
