Originally produced for "The Environs of London, being an Historical Account of the Towns, Villages, and Hamlets within Twelve Miles of that Capital" (London : 1792-1796), compiled by Lysons' elder brother, Daniel Lysons.

Engraved by Thomas Abiel Prior (1809-1866) from an original study by David Hall McKewan. Originally produced for the part-work "History of Surrey" (London : 1840-1848) - and here in the later reissue published between 1878 and 1881.
