London & Edinburgh : A. Fullarton & Co., [1853]. A pleasant antique print - a distant view of Edinburgh - the famous landmarks picked out against the skyline. Drawn and engraved by the Edinburgh artist, Thomas Dick (fl.1828-1874). Originally produced for "Scotland Illustrated" (1845) and here in a slightly later impression.
Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 155 x 176mm (approx. 6-1/8" x 7"). A few faint creases to lower margin, but otherwise in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.
