Engraved by Alexander McClatchie (fl.1828-1861) from an original study by Thomas Hosmer Shepherd. Originally produced for the part-work “Modern Athens! Displayed in a Series of Views: or, Edinburgh in the Nineteenth Century” (London : 1829-1831).
