London : George Virtue, 1831. An attractive antique print - the exterior of the old palace - a line of washing, chickens and a wheel-barrow in the foreground. Engraved by William Watkins (fl.1828-1848) from an original study by the landscape painter Thomas Mann Baynes. Originally produced for the "England's Topographer" series of Kent views (London 1828-1831).
Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 101 x 143mm (approx. 4" x 5-5/8"). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.

Originally produced for the part-work "Select Views of London and its Environs: containing a Collection of Highly Finished Engravings" (London 1804-1805), but here in a slightly later impression.
