[London : Gorge Virtue, 1831]. An attractive antique print - the exterior of the old palace - a line of washing, chickens and a wheel-barrow in the foreground. Engraved by William Watkins (fl.1828-1848) from an original study by the landscape painter Thomas Mann Baynes. Originally produced for the "England's Topographer" series of Kent views (London : 1828-1831).
Steel line engraving on paper. Later hand colour. Engraved surface 99 x 144mm (approx. 3-7/8" x 5-5/8"). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.

Originally produced for the part-work "Select Views of London and its Environs: containing a Collection of Highly Finished Engravings" (London 1804-1805), but here in a slightly later impression.
Copper line engraving on paper. Later hand colour. Engraved surface 162 x 203mm (approx. 6-3/8" x 8"). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print. Adams 130/017.

Originally produced for William Beattie's "The Castles and Abbeys of England" (London : 1842-1844).
