[London : L. Tallis, ca.1850]. A pleasant antique print - the birthplace of William Cobbett (1763-1835) - the building formerly known as The Jolly Farmer. Originally produced for Thomas Dugdale's part-work survey published as "The Curiosities of Great Britain" or "England Delineated" in various formats between 1838 and 1860.
Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 96 x 137mm (approx. 3-3/4" x 5-1/2"). Faint offsetting to lower margin, but otherwise in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.

Engraved by Henry Adlard (1799-1893) from an original study by J. Robertson. Originally produced in 1841 for the part-work "History of Surrey" (London : 1840-1848) - and here in the later reissue published between 1878 and 1881.
Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 136 x 168mm (approx. 5-3/8" x 6-5/8"). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.
