London : George Virtue, 1830. A pleasant antique print - castle and shipping at the mouth of the Medway. Engraved by Thomas Garner (1789-1868) from an original study by the landscape painter Thomas Mann Baynes. Originally produced for the "England's Topographer" series of Kent views (London 1828-1831).
Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 105 x 150mm (approx. 4-1/8" x 5-7/8"). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.

[London : 1860]. A charming antique print - a view of the castle from the water. Originally produced for Thomas Dugdale's part-work survey published as "The Curiosities of Great Britain" or "England Delineated" in various formats between 1838 and 1860.
Steel line engraving on paper. Later hand colour. Engraved surface 96 x 128mm (approx. 3-3/4" x 5"). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.

London : Tombleson & Co., [1834]. An attractive antique print - a view of the town from the river, with boats and fishermen by the bank. With an engraved decorative border of sea-gods, fish, hulls, and the Kentish White Horse. Engraved by Henry Winkles (1800-1860) from an original study by William Tombleson (fl.1824-1846) and originally published in the part-work series "Tombleson's Views of the Thames and Medway" (London : 1833-1834).
Steel line engraving on paper. Later hand colour. Engraved surface 164 x 215mm (approx. 6-1/2" x 8-1/2"). A few faint marks, but overall in very good state. A guaranteed genuine antique print. Adams 178/080.
