[London : Vernor, Hood & Sharpe, 1811]. A pleasant small antique print - the old Wren hall in Maiden Lane (that being the former name of this section of Gresham Street). Engraved by William Angus and originally produced for the part-work "Beauties of England and Wales" (1801-1816).
Copper line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 112 x 76mm (approx. 4-1/2" x 3"). Trimmed to left-hand neatline, but in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print. Adams 104/008B.

[London : Jones & Co., 1830]. An attractive small antique print of the handsome entrance to the old Wren hall in Maiden Lane (that being the former name of this section of Gresham Street). Engraved by William Watkins (fl.1828-1848) from an original study (now in the Guildhall Library) by Thomas Hosmer Shepherd, the master recorder of 19th century London. From Shepherd's series "London and its Environs in the Nineteenth Century" (London : 1829-1832).
Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 105 x 65mm (approx. 4-1/8" x 2-3/8"). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print. Adams 161/020.
