A clearly arranged map on a scale of around nine inches to the mile - a portion of North London centred on Finchley Road Station and taking in Hampstead, West Hampstead, Swiss Cottage, and portions of Kilburn and St. John's Wood. Originally produced as Sheet 35 of the 1900 edition of "Bacon's Large Scale Atlas of London and Suburbs".
Lithograph on paper, with original hand colour. Printed surface 475 x 335mm (approx. 18-3/4" x 13-1/4"). Slight furl to central horizontal fold, but in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique map.

The house was demolished a hundred years ago - the estate being laid out into Ferncroft, Hollycroft and Rosecroft Avenues. Engraved by C.
