A pleasant antique print - the house from across the lake, sheep on the hillside, etc. Engraved by William Alexander le Petit (fl.1829-1855) from an original study by the painter-architect Thomas Allom. Originally produced for the part-work series "Cornwall Illustrated" (London 1830-1832).
Steel line engraving on paper. Later hand colour. Engraved surface 112 x 156mm (approx. 4-3/8" x 6-1/8"). Faint an tiny mark in lower blank margin, but in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.
