A fine antique print offering a general view of the city, with the bridge and the cathedral, etc. Engraved by Thomas Jeavons (1794-1867) from an original drawing by George Fennell Robson and originally produced for John Britton's "Picturesque Views of the English Cities" (London : 1826-1828). The edition was strictly limited to 1,000 impressions and the original plates were destroyed in January 1829 after that number had been printed.
