[London : George Virtue, 1842]. An attarctive antique print - a view of Hull from the sea - small craft in the foreground. Engraved by William Finden (1787-1852) from an original study by the north-country artist George Balmer. Originally produced for the part-work series "Ports, Harbours, Watering Places and Coast Scenery of Great Britain" (London : 1836-1842).
Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 128 x 177mm (approx. 5-1/8" x 7"). A couple of tiny marks to lower margin, but overall in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.

[London : 1833 (but later)]. A pleasant antique print - the town from the sea - engraved by Henry Wallis (1805?-1890) from an original study by Charles Bentley. Originally produced for "The Watering Places of Great Britain" (London : 1833), but here in a later impression dating from about 1860.
