[London : George Virtue, 1844]. A handsome antique print - the heights of the Blocksberg above Budapest as seen from the busy waterfront. Engraved by Charles Cousen (1813-1889) from a sketch by Franz Abresch, worked up for publication by William Henry Bartlett. Originally produced for the part-work series "The Danube, its History, Scenery and Topography" (London : 1844).
Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 147 x 183mm (approx. 5-7/8" x 7-1/4"). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.
