[London : ca.1830]. A fine antique print - a proof state on india paper of an untitled and apparently unpublished view in the Lake District - seemingly of Scales Tarn. The name of the artist, William Westall, and that of the engraver, Robert Wallis (1794-1878), are given, but although there is neither title nor imprint, the image is captioned in pencil both "Thralkeld Farm" and "Thralkeld Tarn".
Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 95 x 151mm (approx. 3-3/4" x 6"). Mild spotting of extreme lower margin, well below image, but otherwise in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.
