[London : George Virtue, 1840]. A handsome antique print of County Kildare – water tumbles over the rocks – trees hem the river – a man crouches in the bushes. Engraved by George K. Richardson (fl.1833-1846) from an original study by the much-admired William Henry Bartlett. Originally produced for the Bartlett part-work “The Scenery and Antiquities of Ireland” (London : 1840-1842).

[London : 1880]. A handsome antique print – the great house at Naas designed by Sir Richard Morrison – a view from the lawns. A technically highly accomplished production, colour printed in eight or more overlays from separate wooden blocks by Benjamin Fawcett (1808-1893) from original draughts (drawn on the wood) by Frank Lydon. Originally produced for the Francis Orpen Morris part-work “County Seats of the Noblemen and Gentlemen of Great Britain and Ireland” (1864-1880).
