[London : Virtue & Co., 1881]. A most attractive antique print - an interior view of the church and what appears to be a party of visitors attending a christening. Engraved by James Harfield Kernot (1802-1858) from an original study by the gifted artist-architect Thomas Allom and originally produced for the part-work "History of Surrey" (London 1840-1848) - and here in the reissue published between 1878 and 1881.
Steel line engraving on paper. Later hand colour. Engraved surface 135 x 166mm (approx. 5-3/8" x 6-1/2"). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.

From an original study by the painter and illustrator William Luker and engraved in Paris by Ch. Guillaume & Cie. for the Leadenhall Press publication "London City Suburbs" (1893).
Hand touched and finished half-tone process block. Later hand colour. Image area 219 x 159mm (approx. 8-5/8" x 6-1/4"). One tiny marginal crease and one very faint mark to lower margin, but otherwise in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.
