Edinburgh : R. Cadell, [1847]. A highly attractive antique print – the cave of the Dutch smuggler in Sir Walter Scott’s "Guy Mannering". Engraved by John Horsburgh (1791-1869) from an original study by Clarkson Stanfield. Originally produced for Cadell’s edition of Scott’s Waverley Novels.
Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 111 x 146mm (approx. 4-3/8” x 5-3/4”). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.

Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 102 x 130mm (approx. 4” x 5-1/8”). A couple of faint and tiny marks, but overall in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.
