[London : 1772]. A fine eighteenth century print of St. Lawrence Jewry, engraved by Benjamin Cole (fl.1723-1767) and originally produced for the part-work edition of William Maitland's "History of London" (London: 1753-1756). Although the present impression is dated to 1772, this would appear to be the earliest image of the church.
Copper line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 237 x 183mm (approx. 9-1/4" x 7-1/4"). Cropped to neatlines, one very small spot in sky, but a very good sharp impression in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print. Adams 38/066B.

London : W. Clarke, 1817. A charming small antique print of the Wren church from the south-east. Drawn and engraved by John Greig (fl.1800-1843) and originally produced for the part-work publication "Walks through London, including Westminster and the Borough of Southwark" (London : 1816-1817).

From an original design by the painter and illustrator William Luker and engraved in Paris by Ch. Guillaume & Cie. for the Leadenhall Press publication "London City" (1891).

[London : Jones & Co., 1830]. An attractive antique print - a pleasant view of the church, with elegantly attired figures in the foreground. St. Lawrence Jewry, rebuilt by Wren in 1671-1677 after the Great Fire. Engraved by James Tingle (1801-1858) from an original study by Thomas Hosmer Shepherd, the master recorder of nineteenth-century London. From Shepherd's series "London and its Environs in the Nineteenth Century" (London : 1829-1832).
