London : Vernor & Hood, 1804. A dramatic antique print - the granite slabs of the geological fantasy on Bodmin Moor. Engraved by John Smith from a drawing by Samuel Prout. Originally produced for the part-work "Beauties of England and Wales" (1801-1816).
Copper line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 153 x 100mm (approx. 6" x 4"). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.

London : Rock & Co., 1851. A pleasant and uncommon small antique print - a view of the holy well of St. Cleer. Produced by the London publishers Rock & Co. (fl.1834-1873), founded by William Frederick Rock (1801-1890). The firm specialised in steel engraved vignette views, fancy stationery and Christmas cards.
Steel line engraving on glazed paper. Engraved surface 66 x 95mm (2-5/8" x 3-3/4"). A few faint marks, but overall in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.
