London : George Virtue, 1835. A handsome antique print - the richly decorated interior of the celebrated chapel. Engraved by John Cleghorn (fl.1821-1863) from an original study by the gifted Thomas Allom. Originally produced for the part-work series "Scotland Illustrated" (London : 1835-1838).
Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 146 x 170mm (approx. 5-3/4" x 6-3/4"). A few tiny marks to blank margins, but overall in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.
