London : Vernor, Hood & Sharpe, 1809 [or later]. A very good and early impression of a useful antique map that remained in print for over fifty years. Interesting in grading the roads, locating archaeological sites, etc. Engraved by John Roper (fl.1792-1810) from a draught by Cole, probably the surveyor George Cole of Soho. Originally produced to accompany the part-work "Beauties of England and Wales" (London 1801-1818).
