LEITCH, Richard Principal : THE ALEXANDRA PALACE (1876).
[London : 1878 (or later)]. An antique print – a pleasant view across the lake and the pleasure grounds up the hill to Ally Pally – just rebuilt and reopened after the first fire. Engraved by John Arthur Quartley (1818?-1895) from an original study by Richard Principal Leitch (b.1827). Originally produced for the part-work “Old and New London” (London : 1873-1878).
LUKER, William, 1862-1934 : CROUCH END, FROM MUSWELL HILL.
[London : Leadenhall Press, 1893]. An attractive late nineteenth-century print giving a view across the hills of north London. From an original design by the painter and illustrator William Luker and engraved in Paris by Ch. Guillaume & Cie. for the Leadenhall Press publication “London City Suburbs” (1893).
