[London : George Virtue, 1842]. A handsome antique print – people venerate the ancient carved cross – round towers and the river to the side. Engraved by Henry Griffiths (fl.1835-1849) from an original study by the much-admired William Henry Bartlett. Originally produced for the Bartlett part-work “The Scenery and Antiquities of Ireland” (London : 1840-1842).
Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 144 x 180mm (approx. 5-5/8” x 7-1/8”). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.
