London : Longman & Co., 1815. A handsome antique print - the ancient tower rises above the Tweed. Engraved by John Greig (fl.1800-1843) from an original study by H. Weber. Originally produced for the serially published "The Border Antiquities of England and Scotland" (London : 1812-1815).
Copper line engraving on india paper. Engraved surface 158 x 181mm (approx. 6-1/4" x 7-1/8"). Some very mild spotting at extreme lower edge of margin, but otherwise in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.
