Wood engraving on paper. Later hand colour. Engraved surface 104 x 146mm (approx. 4-1/8" x 5-3/4"). Text on verso. In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.

[London : John Cooke, 1777]. A handsome eighteenth-century antique print - a sweeping view of still rural Hampstead from neighbouring Primrose Hill. Engraved by John Royce (fl.1773-1789) and originally produced for Cooke's part-work publication Walter Harrison, "A New and Universal History, Description and Survey of the Cities of London and Westminster" (London : 1775-1777).
Copper line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 166 x 275mm (approx. 6-1/2" x 10-7/8"). A few tiny specks, but overall in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print. Adams 57/086.
