[London : George Virtue, 1837]. An attractive antique print - William Henry Playfair's classical building, which has now become the Royal Scottish Academy. Engraved by William Deeble (1791-1861) from an original study by George Meikle Kemp, the architect of the Scott Monument. Originally produced for the part-work series "Scotland Illustrated" (London : 1835-1838).
Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 137 x 177mm (approx. 5-3/8" x 7"). A couple of tiny marks to lower blank margin, but otherwise in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.
