[London : George Virtue, 1828]. A most attractive antique print - the quay alive with boats and bustle, the Royal Oak Tavern and the Castle Hotel visible amongst the masts and rigging of the ships. Engraved by Josiah Henshall (1801?-1869) from a drawing by the landscape painter Joseph Fussell (fl.1821-1845), in turned based on Henshall's own preliminary sketch. Originally produced for the "England's Topographer" series of Kent views (London : 1828-1831).

[London : George Virtue, 1833 (but later) ]. A highly attractive map engraved by John Crane Dower (fl.1820-1847) for the part-work "English Counties Delineated" (London : 1830-1837) prepared by the antiquary Thomas Moule. Decorated with a patterned border, coats of arms, and inset views of Ramsgate and the North Foreland Lighthouse. Originally engraved in 1833, the present edition is dated to about 1840.
