A pleasant small antique print - the graceful old hall in St. Swithin's Lane built by Henry Carr between 1824 and 1827 but destroyed by fire in 1941. An engraving from the workshop of A. H. Engraved by William Wallis (fl.1816-1855) from original studies (now in the Museum of London and the Guildhall Library) by Thomas Hosmer Shepherd, the master recorder of nineteenth-century London.
