London : George Virtue, 1829. An attractive antique print - the handsome parish church of St. Clement at Sandwich, with its fine Norman tower. Engraved by John Rogers (ca.1808-1888) from an original study by the landscape and topographical painter Henry Gastineau. Originally produced for the "England's Topographer" series of Kent views (London : 1828-1831).
Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 104 x 149mm (approx. 4-1/8" x 5-7/8"). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.
