Engraved by John Charles Varrall (1794-1855) from an original study by the landscape painter Charles Marshall. Originally produced for the part-work “Select Illustrated Topography of Thirty Miles Round London” (London : 1837-1838).

London : Tombleson & Co., . A most attractive antique print – the village from across the Thames – a party about to be ferried across – men fishing. The scene is set within an ornate engraved palm-leaf border. Engraved by Henry Winkles (1800-1860) from an original study by William Tombleson (fl.1824-1841). Originally published in the part-work series “Tombleson’s Views of the Thames and Medway” (London : 1833-1834).
